Wednesday's was

my nephew Curry's birthday and we got to spend it with him. He is 8 years old and the sweetest 8 year-old boy you have ever met. It has been wonderful having my family here. I just love my nephews and niece to pieces. Skye just loves having them around too. We had a birthday party at our house for Curry's birthday. Pizza from Wholefoods (so yummy), cake from Costco, cold beer, children opening presents, family together, love, and laughter... another great day. Happy Birthday Curry you bring happiness to everyone who knows you!

And She Is Growing...

BEAUTIFULLY we had our four month check up today and she is doing wonderful. She is 14 pounds 11 ounces and 26 inches long. She is in the 75 % for both height and weight. Dr. Wilson said feed, "feed that girl food!" so that we did and she LOVED it! When I tell you she loved it that is an understatement. She didn't have the tongue reflex at all she ate it all right up with no problem. It was so fun!

She also got more vaccinations. Mommy hates them more than Skye Bear I think. She did wonderful as always. Daddy held her and she cried a little then stopped. She is a good girl... strong-willed (wonder where she gets that from) but so good. We don't have another appointment until she is 61/2 months. 6 1/2 months that sounds crazy! I can't believe she is already 4 1/2 months.

Her head is doing wonderful, her tummy is very strong she pulls herself up, sits up very well, she is on the verge of rolling over and does it with a little of assistance. But we need to work on leg strength. She does not like to put pressure on her legs. No big deal though we just need to work on it and it will be better in no time.

We are so excited Uncle Jeff, Aunt Anna, and Skye's three adorable cousins Curry, Tristan, and Kyla came to town today to meet Skye and spend Thanksgiving with us and we are so excited to spend time with them. Their life is about to get a little sweeter with Skye in it.

Skye is a bit attached to mommy and daddy these days! But it was as if she knew... this is my family and she loved them right from the start... no warming up nothing she was in Uncle Jeff's arms the first second she met him. Her cousins loved Skye immediately too and all took turns holding her. A Family's love priceless...

Curry missed out holding Skye because he was playing with Grandmama's marbles! He will be 8 on Wednesday... hard to believe.

Mommy and Daddy are so thankful for another great appointment and for all that our sweet angel is doing these days. Four months is AWESOME. Don't get me wrong every stage is great but now she has a personality and she is she... Skye Rose... her own person...
