Vaccinations

Today my little angel had her first round of vaccinations. A word I have DREADED since the day I found out I was pregnant. The media is so negative and has scared me to death about these shots. She has to have them though... so is all I can do is pray that everything is ok. She did wonderful and hardly cried (it could be because she was snuggled up in daddy's arms when they were given to her). Daddy was protecting her so it wasn't that bad... daddy just adores her so much. It melts my heart!

My fear of her not getting enough from nursing was answered today...

Dr. Wilson said she is growing beautifully... and that she is! She is 24 and 1/2 inches and 11 pounds and 11 ounces. She is 50% percent for weight and 75% for height. With her oh so tiny head at 30%. Her head is so tiny and she has the most perfect dainty features and chubby little cheeks. She is just perfect in every way. God has blessed us!

Sweet Skye

Here are the first couple of pages of Sky's scrapbook. They didn't download in the right order. I try to work on them any chance I get. I love creating pages of her...I could work on it all day long if I could. I am not great at it yet but getting better with time. Here is the beginning of her journey through life... So Loved!

First Vacation

Skye went on her first vacation. We spend the weekend in Marco Island and stayed at the Marco Marriott. It was absoluetly beautiful and just a perfect little family vacation. We went for two nights and it was close to home! We relaxed (well as much as you can with a newborn) and just had a great time with our princess. She went swimming for the first time and LOVED it! She fell asleep in the pool. We enjoyed the beautiful hotel amenities.. steel drums played, large pool waterfalls, breathtaking long-white-sand-beaches, water glistening, and Skye Bear smiling . It was a perfect!

It is crazy all the stuff you need to pack when you have a little one. You would of thought we went away for a month. Pack N Plays, strollers, bouncy seats, baby towels, baby washclothes, blankets, sheets for the Pack N Play, diapers, wipes, etc... and that wasn't even any of our stuff. I was so focued on packing for her I forgot half of the stuff I needed for myself. The world revolves are Skey Rose now!

Two Months Old

Where does the time go? I feel like it was just yesterday I was going to the hospital to have my little angel.... and already she is TWO months old. I just can't believe it. And I still can't believe she is a SHE. I was so convinced I was having a boy. I am just in heaven with this little girl. She is the best suprise I have EVER had in my life. She is growing beautifully and just the most precious little angel I have ever laid my eyes on. I am so thankful for Skye Rose there isn't a day that goes by that I dont' stop..hold her in my arms..look into her eyes.. get tears in my eyes..and just thank God for her.

Mommy and Daddy love you Sweetheart! Happy two months old!

Victory

The season started off wonderful for the EAGLES! 38 to 3 against the Rams! The Rams might just be mediocre but the Eagles did darn good! I think it has to do with our newest good luck charm.

Daddy came home from his golf trip today and look what he had on. Our outfits matched and we didn't even plan it... Great minds think alike!

EAGLE SEASON

Today is the start our heartache EAGLE season. As you all know we are diehard EAGLE fans and year after year we are left disappointed. Well I am hoping that Skye will be our good luck charm this year. Here is our newest EAGLES fan!

Girls Nigth Out

Happy Birthday Rayna! We had so much fun celebrating your birthday. You are a very special person and I love you. Hope you enjoyed it! Girls nights out are priceless and "our" friendships are even more priceless.

Although, I miss my Skye Bear I look forward to my girl nights out. She is so safe with daddy or grandma anyway. The neatest thing is that one day she will be hanging out with us too! And what great role models I have for friends. Love you guys!

Big Girl

Our little Skye Bear is getting so big. She just grows bigger everyday and does something new each day. God has blessed us so much. She just looks at us with those beautiful blue eyes and we think to ourselves how did we get so lucky. There really isn't words to describe the day to day joy we get to experience with her. Don't get me wrong there are some trying times too but the joy out weighs all! She is perfect in every way. Thank you all for the vists, beautiful gifts and most of all for loving our precious daughter.
